Maple Walnut Fudge

1 cup Brown sugar, packed

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup White sugar

2 tablespoons butter

1 Cup Forty to One Cooking syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoon corn syrup

1 cup chopped walnuts

3/4 cup Half and Half

 

Place sugars, syrups, and half and half in a large saucepan.  Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until 238 degrees.  Drop in butter, DO NO STIR. 

Cool to 130 degrees and add vanilla, beat with spoon until it loses the gloss and holds its shape.  Add nuts.  Pour into a buttered 8x8 pan.  Cool, cut into 1” pieces.
