Crinkle Maple Cookies |

1 Cup Crisco |
1 cup Brown sugar, packed |

1 Egg |
1 Cup Forty to One Cooking Syrup |
|
1 teaspoon Vanilla |
|
|
4 cups flour |
2 teaspoons Baking Soda |
|
1/2 teaspoon salt |
White Sugar for rolling dough |

Cream Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, Forty To One syrup and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Combine remaining ingredients add to mixture and blend. Chill dough in refrigerator for an hour. |
Roll small amounts of dough the size of walnuts. Coat with white sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven. Cool on rack. |
